After 15 years of being self-employed and building After 15 years of being self-employed and building Highlands Laser & Beauty, I’ve shared so many before-and-afters, skin transformations, treatments and results. And I’ll always love that part of what we do. But I also feel like I’ve reached a different stage of my life where my idea of beauty has changed. Today I had the absolute pleasure of seeing #CirqueAlice at the Lyric Theatre, and I was completely blown away. The talent, strength, discipline, creativity and emotion in that show were incredible. And Cooper Sandell was absolutely amazing. Watching someone perform with that much passion and presence really stayed with me. It reminded me that beauty isn’t only about what we see on the outside. It’s about your mind, body and soul. It’s about passion. Confidence. Strength. Kindness. Laughter. Experiences. The people who inspire you. And the things that make you feel truly alive. As I get older, I realise more and more that looking after ourselves means so much more than skin, hair or how we look in the mirror. It’s about finding what makes you shine from the inside out. So you might start noticing me mixing things up a little with our future posts at Highlands Laser & Beauty. There will still be treatments, results, beauty and everything you know us for — but I also want to share more about wellbeing, inspiration, experiences, confidence, mind, body and soul, and the things that make us feel good from within. Because beauty can be a glowing complexion… But it can also be watching someone chase their passion, laughing until your stomach hurts, trying something new, taking care of yourself, or simply feeling happy in your own skin. Maybe this is just the next chapter for Highlands Laser & Beauty.
